Lawrence A. Brooks Graduate Conference Grant

The Lawrence A. Brooks Graduate Conference Grant was created to help defray the cost of attending national, regional, and local conferences.

Eligibility criteria for Lawrence A. Brooks Graduate Conference Grant -

1. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
2. The applicants must be pursuing majors in History/Humanities concentration, Standard M.A. Program or Public History concentration.
3. The applicant must be a Classified Graduate.
4. The applicant must be enrolled.
5. Graduate student who is presenting a paper at or attending a national, regional, or local conference (in that order).

Application process -

1. The applicant must also answer the supplemental questions asked by the University.

   • Please select your type of travel.
   • Name of the archive or conference you will be traveling to
   • Submit a statement explaining the purpose and need for your travel in relation to your research project or presentation.
