Eligibility criteria:
For Postdocs:
- Applicants must have completed their doctorate (or equivalent academic qualification) within the last four years or be within six months of completion and able to provide a written summary of their findings.
- Applicants must have been published in academic journals or publishing houses that follow international review standards.
For Experienced Researchers:
- Applicants have completed a doctorate (or equivalent academic qualification) within the last twelve years.
- Applicants academic profiles should be supported by an extensive list of publications in academic journals or publishing houses with international review standards.
General Requirements (For Both Categories):
- Open to researchers of any nationality.
- Applicants must provide confirmation that research facilities are available, typically through a host statement.
- Applicants need to submit expert reviews of academic work.
- Language proficiency may be expected, and one may be able to attend a language course prior to the fellowship.
- Applicants must adhere to good scientific practices and ethical standards.
Benefits:
Successful applicants of the Humboldt Research Fellowship for postdoctoral and experienced researchers will receive a stipend of €2,700 per month for postdocs and €3,200 per month for experienced researchers.
