Eligibility Criteria for HESPAL - Higher Education Scholarships for Palestinians 2026:

Applicants must:

Be Palestinian from the Gaza Strip (including displaced Gazans).
Be employed by or part of the academic staff at a Gazan university.
Be nominated by their home university in Gaza.
Be applying for a Master’s (MA) program only.
Provide a valid English-language certificate that is accepted by the UK university they plan to join.

Women, displaced academics, and individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Value of HESPAL - Higher Education Scholarships for Palestinians 2026:

Academic tuition fees, through fee waivers offered by participating UK partner universities.
Living allowance for the 12 months duration of master’s programmes.
Arrival allowance and thesis allowance.
Additional allowance (for 2026 scholars) to contribute toward visa, health insurance and/or travel costs.

Application Process:

Applicants must identify UK partner universities and preferred master’s programmes, and apply directly to at least three programmes offered by those institutions.
Complete the HESPAL online application form, including required documents.
