Wilsey Distinguished Graduate Fellowships at University of Notre Dame 2025

Eligibility Criteria of the Fellowship:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must be fourth or fifth year graduate students in the College of Arts and Letters.
• Applicants must exhibit good academic standing.
• Applicants must be in-residence and released from departmental service and teaching work for their fellowship year.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

• Current Curriculum Vitae
• Unofficial graduate transcript.
• Summary of the dissertation research
• A statement of interest, outlining the details of the dissertation research
• Contact information for two references; at least one should be involved in advising your dissertation research
• An acknowledgment letter signed by the DGS to apply to the program and to be released from teaching responsibilities for the duration of your fellowship year.

• Stipend - $42,000
• A $1,000 research account
• Dedicated office space in ECG
• Release from TA duties and other departmental service.
