Established in 1916 thanks to an AUD 200 donation from the Queensland United Licensed Victuallers' Association in honor of the brothers Lieutenant S. K. Ford and Corporal T. W. Ford, who both died defending the Empire.
Eligibility for Ford Memorial Prize:
- All UQ undergraduate students are welcome to participate in the tournament.
- The student should be studying an Undergraduate or an honors course
- The applicant should be studying Arts, humanities, and social sciences-related subjects
Selection Criteria:
The best poem, as judged by the prize assessors, will get the prize.
