Eligibility criteria for the D W Bain Prize in Journalism:
- Applicants must have completed a program at the University for a BC with a major in Journalism or for a GradDipJour.
- The prize is awarded by the University Council on the recommendation of the Head of Journalism.
- In making the recommendation, the Head of Journalism considers academic achievement in core Journalism courses in the year of the award by students in the final year of a program for:
- BC with a major in Journalism; or
- GradDipJour
Value of D W Bain Prize in Journalism:
Successful applicants will get a monetary award at a value of $1,000.
