Chalmers University of Technology IPOET Scholarship 2024/25

In 2024, Chalmers plans to provide about 35 IPOET scholarships. The Swedish Council for Higher Education provides funding for scholarships to aspiring fee-paying students. Chalmers is in charge of overseeing and giving out the scholarships.

Eligibility for Chalmers University of Technology IPOET Scholarship:

• 1st year Master's programme applicants
• Citizens from non-EU/EEA countries are required to pay tuition fees for Swedish university studies.

Selection Criteria:

The selection process is based on the candidates' relative academic excellence, which is generally determined by a weighted average grade of at least 80%. Additionally, the prestige of the home university—including its standing on international rankings—as well as the application priority order for Chalmers Master's programs are taken into consideration.

Benefits/Value of the Scholarship:

• A 75% reduction of the tuition fees (4 semesters/2 year program)
• Students who excel during their first year of studies may receive an increased reduction, which covers 85% of the tuition fees during the second and final year of studies
• No funds are transferred to the scholarship laureates
