- Applicants must be full-time undergraduates enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences and/or the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering at Colorado State University.
- Applicants must be majoring in a STEM discipline where women undergraduates are underrepresented.

- Applicants must have completed at least 24 credit hours at Colorado State University.
- Preference shall be given to students demonstrating interest in the promotion and participation of women and underrepresented students within the Computer Science or Physics departments in the College of Natural Sciences or in any department in the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering.
