Bayesian Approaches to Screening Designs of Experiments Scholarship at RMIT University

Bayesian approaches are presented to solve the challenges with classical designs related to the number of blocks, sample size, and multi-stratum structures, as well as the dependence on an assumed statistical model. In order to control type I error around the desired level, increase power, and create new, more cost-effective Bayesian A- or D-optimal designs that can be used with split-plot designs and other multi-stratum structures, this project will examine the literature currently available on Bayesian supersaturated D-optimal designs.

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicant must have a Master of Science or Engineering with a research component (thesis). 
• Applicant must have a Bachelor (Hons) of Science or Engineering.
• Applicant must have excellent knowledge of programming in R.

Benefits:

• Eligible applicants will be getting a scholarship of $33,000 for 3 years per year.
