Objective:
This award recognizes academic excellence, research, and resolution at the Design Thesis level.
Eligibility for the Bates Smart Award:
- Applicants must be enrolled in the Master of Architecture (single or combined).
- Candidates should have completed the Design Thesis (ABPL90169) or its successor.
- Students need to be classified as Domestic/International students.
Selection Criteria:
- Shortlisted students will be contacted after thesis moderation. The students may be required to deliver a brief presentation of their work to the selection panel.
- Eligible recipients will be assessed on the thesis that best demonstrates excellence in research and resolution.
Application Process:
No application is required. Students will be automatically considered for this award upon enrollment with the university.
