Alex Raydon Scholarship for Refugee or Migrant Students at Monash University 2024

This scholarship is available to refugees or students born outside of Australia who have lived in Australia for a minimum of 12 months and are enrolling in postgraduate programs.

Eligibility for Alex Raydon Scholarship for Refugee or Migrant Students:

• The applicant must be a citizen of Australia, New Zealand, Australia's permanent resident, or possess an Australian humanitarian visa.
• The applicant must be an incoming or current student enrolled in an eligible postgraduate program at the university.
  
• The applicant must be a refugee or migrant.
• Applicants who recently became refugees are given first consideration.
• The applicant must demonstrate financial need and hold a low household income.

Application Process:

• The candidates eligible for equity scholarship must apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) through VTAC.
• The current students must apply online to be considered for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded AUD 6,000 yearly for the duration of the degree.
