4MBS Musica Viva Sid Page Memorial Prize in Chamber Music at university of Queensland 2024

This scholarship was established in memory of Sidney B. Page and is funded by donations from his family, colleagues, and friends. Sidney Page served as Deputy Librarian at this University from 1966 to 1972 and as Librarian at Griffith University until 1983. He was a member of the Music Faculty Board from 1971 until he died in 1987 and a founding member of the Music Broadcasting Society of Queensland Ltd.

Eligibility for 4MBS Musica Viva Sid Page Memorial Prize in Chamber Music at University of Queensland 2024:

• This prize is awarded to the ensemble which gives the most outstanding performance in the competition.
• Applicants must be a part of a music ensemble consisting of up to 8 students
• Applicants must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Music (Honours).

Application Process:

Applicants must submit an online application form stating the details of the work they propose to perform with a short bio.

Value of the scholarship:

• A minimum value of AUD 3,825 will be awarded.
• A 4MBS broadcast of the applicant's performance.
