Global Undergraduate Exchange Program For Ukrainian Students 2024-25

Supported by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, the Global Undergraduate Exchange Programme (Global UGRAD) is funded by American taxpayers. Future leaders are brought to the United States as part of an international educational and cultural exchange programme to learn about American education, expand their knowledge and skill set, and learn about American values and culture. Additionally, it gives students the chance to inform Americans about the customs and cultures of other countries.

This Scholarship  provides one academic semester of undergraduate, non-degree study in the United States in all fields. . Direct patient care, including care for animals, is not allowed. Interested applicants in medicine, nursing, veterinary medicine, pharmacology, or other clinical fields of study should be aware of this. As a result, participating U.S. universities may only offer a restricted amount of academic coursework and/or program activities.

Elgibility Criteria:

• A Ukrainian national presently living and attending university full-time in Ukraine, where they are enrolled in a 1-2 year bachelor's degree programme for the academic year 2023–2024.
• Applicant must be above 18 years by the start date of the program in the US.
• Appllicant must be Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing at any university in Ukraine, public or private.
• English language skills should be strong enough to study in the U.S. university.
• Return to Ukraine after the programme is over and continue your education there for at least a year at your home university.
• Applicant must be qualified to get and hold the J-1 U.S. student exchange visa, which is necessary for the programme.

The application deadline is on December 15, 2023
