Eligibility for Shanghai Government Scholarship at Shanghai University:
- The applicants must be in excellent health and non-Chinese citizens.
- Candidates for bachelor's degrees must be under 25 years old and recent high school graduates.
- Candidates for master's programs must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor's degree.
- Candidates for doctorate programs must be under 40 years old and hold a master's degree.
Application Process:
- STEP1: Log in http://edu.sh.gov.cn/study_cn/ , choose Shanghai Government Scholarship,and complete the application online.
- STEP2: Log inhttp://apply.shu.edu.cn to complete the online application. Pay the application fee (RMB 500) which is non-refundable.
- STEP3: Shanghai University Scholarship Committee will review the application materials and determine scholarship candidates’ list.
- STEP4: Publish the scholarship candidates’ list online at late of June (http://apply.shu.edu.cn).
- STEP5: Pay the tuition deposit online and receive official admission documents.
