Robin Eickman, an SF State alumnus and former director of the San Francisco Film and Video Commission, established the Eickman Scholarship to support talented seniors and graduate students pursuing careers in filmmaking, with a focus on those underrepresented in the industry.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Awarded to a student whose creative work demonstrates exceptional potential in areas such as cinematography, sound recording, visual effects, art direction, or another category specified by the applicant
- Students must be working on the thesis
- Graduate students receiving a scholarship the semester they are working on their thesis are not held to the enrollment requirement.
- Must major in Cinema
- Open to all citizens.
