    Carleton University offers Renewable Entrance Scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025 to eligible incoming undergraduate students. These scholarships are designed to recognize and support outstanding academic achievement. The scholarships are renewable annually based on maintaining a specified GPA throughout the undergraduate program.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • For Canadian High School Students-
    1. Applicants must have an admissions average of 80 percent or better.
    2. Applicants must be entering Carleton for the first time from high school.
    3. Applicants should not have previous attendance at post-secondary educational institutions.
    • For College/University Transfer Students-
    1. Applicant must exhibit superior academic standing.
    2. Applicant must enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at Carleton University.
    3. Applicants must be transferring to Carleton for the first time.
    • For International High School Students-
    1. Applicants must have an admissions average of 80 percent or better.
    2. Applicants must be entering Carleton for the first time from high school.
    3. Applicants should not have previous attendance at post-secondary educational institutions.
    4. Applicants must identify as international students.

    Application Process:

    • All students are automatically considered for the scholarship at the time of admission based on their admission average.

    Value of the Scholarship:

    • Selected candidates are awarded one of the following benefits:
      • CAD 16,000 for admission averages of 95-100%.
      • CAD 12,000 for admission averages of 90-94.9%.
      • CAD 8,000 for admission averages of 85-89.9%.
      • CAD 4,000 for admission averages of 80-84.9%.

    Note: These scholarships are renewable annually with a GPA of 10.0 (A- standing) and are applicable for fall entry only.
