CASVA Paul Mellon And Ailsa Mellon Bruce Visiting Senior Fellowship, 2024 is awarded to support research in the history, theory, and criticism of the visual arts.

Eligibility

• The CASVA Paul Mellon And Ailsa Mellon Bruce Visiting Senior Fellowship, 2024-2025 is open to all nationalities.
• The candidates applying should have held a Ph.D. for five years or more at the time of application.
• Candidates who possess an equivalent record of professional accomplishment are eligible to apply. 
• The candidates who are currently affiliated with the National Gallery of Art are not eligible for the visiting senior fellowship program.

Selection criteria

• The applications made by the candidates are reviewed by an external selection committee.
• The selection committee is composed of scholars in the history of art and related disciplines. Outside readers may also assist in evaluating the proposals.

Value of award

• The successful applicants of CASVA Paul Mellon And Ailsa Mellon Bruce Visiting Senior Fellowship 2024 will be receiving stipends for two-month fellowships ranging from $7,000 to $8,000.
