DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme (Master’s Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance - PPGG) 2024

Future leaders from developing nations who wish to advance social justice and democracy in their own countries are supported by the DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme, also known as Public Policy and Good Governance. The German Federal Foreign Office-funded program provides the opportunity to earn a Master's degree in subjects that are especially pertinent to the social, political, and economic advancement of the participants' home countries. Highly qualified graduates with a first degree are being schooled in political science, law, economics, and administration in the context of the principles of good governance, and they are being prepared for future leadership roles in their home countries.

Eligibility for DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme (Master’s Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance - PPGG):

• Bachelor's degree holders or those with an equivalent degree from developing and emerging nations are eligible to apply.
• Applicants with a first-degree degree in the social and political sciences, law, economics, public policy, and administration who have above-average (upper third) grades
• Applicants who are prepared to make a significant contribution to their native nations' or regions' social, political, and economic growth
• Applicants with prior relevant practical experience (such as work experience, internships, or political/social involvement)
